Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
Isaiah 43:10-11, King James Version, Tyndale, Life Application Study Bible
Footnote: Isaiah 43:10-11 Isaiah’s task was to be a witness, telling the world who God is and what he has done. Believers today share the responsibility of being God’s witness. Do people know what God is like through your example? They cannot see God directly, but they can see him reflected in you.
